Bio
Nicole, a native of Eastern Pennsylvania, first found her love for animals as a small child where horses held an immense admiration in her heart. She attended Morrisville State College in upstate New York and obtained her A.A.S. in Equine Science Management in 2009. After returning to Pennsylvania, she received her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology in 2012 and became a certified veterinary technician. Employed at numerous and diverse facilities over the years, she eventually found a passion for emergency and critical care medicine. Through those experiences, she found a deep connection in advocacy, mentoring, and providing support to pet parents during the more difficult times of pet ownership. In addition to being RECOVER and Fear Free certified, in 2023, she received her Pet Loss Grief Support Certification through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals. She currently attends Thomas Edison University and is working towards a B.S. in Organizational Leadership to continue her passion of helping bring change and resources to the community.
In her free time, she can be often found thrifting, crafting, playing in her garden and spending time with her husband, son and four cats. Additionally, she spends her remaining time volunteering in her community coaching youth soccer and holding a position as a board member for a local non-profit, Parents for Inclusion.
